Hi Reader I wanted to share a quick personal and professional update with you - I recently earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. For many years, it’s been a dream of mine to reach this goal, and I’m extremely proud to have achieved it! The CFA charter is an internationally recognized designation and widely considered to be the most rigorous and respected credential in the investment profession. There are approximately 200,000 charterholders in the world, and only ~ 5,400 a year successfully meet the requirements to receive a charter. Earning it requires passing a series of three challenging exams, each with pass rates between 25-50%, and several years of disciplined study and practical experience. For me, this achievement represents a deep commitment to mastering the principles of portfolio management, financial analysis, and ethical decision-making; all in service of helping you make smarter, more confident financial decisions. While I’m proud of the accomplishment, I’m even more excited about how this deeper knowledge will help me continue providing thoughtful, evidence-based guidance as you navigate retirement and beyond. Thank you for your continued trust! It truly means a lot. Warm regards, Tony Matheson, CFA, CFP® |
